Suns Game

Last Saturday night, Kev, my Dad, my Grandpa and I went to see the Phoenix Suns game that they held in the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. It was the first outdoor pro basketball game in the US. Kev is a big Suns fan and our seats were really good, so it was fun for him to get to see all his favorite players. My Dad bought the tickets as a group birthday present to all of us back at the beginning of the year, so we have been looking forward to going for a long time. It was really fun being out under the stars, it was a cold night but the stadium seemed to keep in some of the heat. Thanks Dad for a great night! Here are a couple pics from the game.

It's a..........................

BOY!!!!

I had my BIG ultrasound this morning and it was s0 great! Any day I get to look at my baby for 20 minutes is a really good day! At first the tech said she wasn't going to be able to tell the sex because of the way he was positioned, and inside I was crying "ARE YOU KIDDING ME???". I waited too long for this! But then she kept looking and she said, "I can see that it's a boy but your not going to be able to see because he is grabbing himself". LOL. So she kept shaking him trying to get him to move and he finally did. I'll be telling him that story in about 14 years! The great news is that my placenta has moved up so that is no longer a concern. I know I said I wanted a girl but I am super excited, especially for Dylan. When Kev came home and told Dyl that he was having a baby brother Dylan acted all confused because HE already knew that, he has been saying it's a brother from the beginning. Thanks for all who prayed for me and this baby from the beginning. I can really feel all your prayers. Love you all! I'll scan my pics when I go to my parents next. They aren't that great cause the baby was in a strange position.

Doctors appointment today

It's funny because I wait and wait for each prenatal visit and then it's over in less than 5 minutes. I'm sure other Moms know what I mean. Then I start the countdown for the next one. It's silly, but each appointment just seems like a time for a small connection with this life growing inside of me. My weight is still good, I gained back the pound I lost last month, so total I am +1 for the pregnancy. I'm happy, I had gained at least 10 pounds with Dyl by this point. My blood pressure was good and my quad screen came back negative. That's great since that is the scaryone that tests for all the birth defects. The doc also did another quick ultrasound and he said that his guess was BOY but he wasn't getting a real clear view. The good news is that I have my big ultrasound scheduled for 9:00am on Monday, so we will see for sure then. The more I think about it the more I am excited for Dylan to have a little brother. I have a lot planned this weekend, dinner at my sisters tomorrow night, basketball game saturday night, and my friends show and my nephews birthday on Sunday, so the weekend should go real quick! I'll post sometime on Monday after I find out the news, I have to work right after and then I'm having my family over for dinner, so it might take me until the end of the day.

20 weeks!

I can't believe I'm half way through!! This pregnancy has had an odd progression, because of my problems in the beginning I was convinced I was going to miscarry until I was about 10 weeks. So it's only been the last 10 weeks that this pregnancy has actually felt real. I'm so thankful for everyone that prayed for me and cared about me through this time. I'm feeling pretty good and I'm able to feel the baby move more and more everyday, which is always exciting. I don't sleep real well, I'm either changing posistions, going to the bathroom, or up with Dylan for something. Just getting ready for the long nights ahead of me I guess. I have my next doctors appointment on Thursday and I will know at that point when my big ultrasound appointment will be. Right now the poll on my blog has 8 votes for girl and 2 votes for boy. I, of course, want a girl, but I know that it would be great for Dylan to have a little brother, and I've really enjoyed having a boy. Here are a couple 20 week pictures. I'm trying to be really good about taking them, because with Dylan I only have a couple early belly pictures.
