LOVE LOVE LOVE

I am so, SO happy with how our family portraits turned out this year. The original idea I had discussed with Katie of Katie McGihon Photography was to go up to the mountains and dress kind of outdoorsy. Well, we were both nervous we wouldn’t be able to make it up there before we lost light so we decided to go a different direction. I thought modern; pinstripes for the boys and I found a super cute fedora that got passed around the whole session. Katie thought that the Mary Pickford theatre center would be a good location because of the colors and look of the architecture. I am so happy this is the direction we took. They turned out so awesome. Here they are!

The Talented Mr. Ethan

I somehow managed to get Ethan showing off all his little skills in one video. So cute…

Buzz Lightyear and the Spewing Pumpkin

I got your attention, didn’t I? Haha. Our church had their annual Harvest Fun Fair on Friday this year since halloween fell on a Sunday. I spent the whole day helping to set up and then my family joined me in the evening to play. We had a great time going through the trunk or treat line and the kids both spent a lot of time in the bounce houses. We then got some hotdogs and popcorn and sat on the grass to eat. Our fabulous night was topped off by our little pumpkin who threw up all over his costume and my pants. Time to go home!

Here are the few pics that I got:

Let’s Go Double O!!

This was our high school class of 2000 cheer. And this month we celebrated our 10 year high school reunion.

  • It’s nice that Kev and I are from the same class, so it’s OUR reunion
  • It was held at Las Casuelas Nuevas
  • It was A LOT of fun
  • I was worried that it would be kind of weird since I am already friends with a lot of classmates on facebook, but there was actually quite a few there that I was totally pleasantly surprised to see.
  • They did a slide show and our friend Kurt submitted a picture of Kev and I in high school, and everyone went “AWWWWW”. It was cute.
  • We will totally go to our 20 year! :-)

Here are some pics:

Michelle and Jonathon: funny thing about them is that they are both from our class but never even knew eachother in school and were hooked up by their Moms later.

Kevin and Allen: Allen was a fellow Tuba player in high school and now lives in Nebraska, so it was awesome to see him and his fiance

Kaley and I: BFF’s since Junior Year; she set Kevin and I up for Prom and the rest is history

The Ladies

This is Zach; he was one that we were so happy to see. He sat next to us in senior Government and used to draw cartoon comic strips of Kev and I. They were really good!

The Men

This is “the group” the four of us have stayed in touch and hung out the most since high school. We were all in choir together.

Kamiren, Kaley and I. Kamiren and I went to HS together, she came to our wedding, and now we work together at SCC.

Yay! What a fun night!!
